[GoldenH] !roll 5d10 [GoldenH] wb [Maris] [[just getting on gryphon]] [Tei] chat the command for that? [Storyteller] !roll 5d10 [DiceBot] Storyteller : 5d10, 8, 2, 9, 8, 8 , Sucesses: 1 [Storyteller] !roll 5d10 [DiceBot] Storyteller : 5d10, 4, 2, 3, 2, 7 , Sucesses: 0 [Storyteller] ok [Storyteller] we can play now [Storyteller] Allright... now one way or another you have all ended up taking the road to the wedding . Maybe you missed the boat, or what have you, but that is the way it is. Eventually you met up with each other on the road, and decided to stick together. The roads are lonely, after all. And still dangerous. You are about three hours from the city. You cannot see it yet, as there are still vast stretches of forest and farmland to cross, but the signs are clear. You talk as you ride, getting to know each other, or perhaps finding out you don't want to get to know each other. And whatnot. So introduce yourselves, and talk a bit. And then I will move on to the next scene. * Maris rides on his horse in full armor. He isn't wearing his Kraken Claw's currently but he seems to fuming about something as he has the whole ride. He has been pleasant enough on the trip though when you distract him from his own internal monologue. [Tabius] * Tabius sits a horse somewhat uncomfortably. He is dressed in greens and browns, a full riding cloak flowing behind him in the slight breeze. He evokes mild feelings of awe and wonder* * Maris is traveling with 4 Cynis slaves on laden pack animals. * Tei walks with his arms folded in the sleeves of his robes, steeling glances at cicada whe nno one is looking [Storyteller] thunder rumbles overhead, and the sky is darkened, but rain has not yet begun to fall. * Cicada has been riding a little behind Tabius, eyes down as not to attract too much attention. She is dressed in her light, white outfit. She is unarmored as a servant should be. [Tabius] So Maris, is this going to be a big party, one with a lot of fun? * Tala walks along side the others. She has carries a backpack on her shoulders and remains mostly silent, taking in the sights * Tei pulls his hat down over his eyes to shield them from the coming storm * Cicada makes a point out of not meeting the gaze of that strange monk. * Maris looks at Tabius and laughs, "As much as any mortal infested party is I would guess. I am sure V'neef has brought plenty of wine though." [Tei] Tei drops back to walk beside Tala [Tabius] It better be very good wine for to travel this far on a horse. [Tei] So sister what brings you into attendance? [Maris] "I've got a few surprises of my own though that should make the trip worth while." [Tabius] Oh I am sure this will be worth while, with some of the leaders of several houses going. If nothing less it will be a lesson in politicking while pretending to have a good time. * Tabius smiles at Cicada * Maris chuckles, "There's always a good time to be had if your inventive enough." * Cicada looks up and smiles back. * Tala turns to Tei [Tala] A family member invited me. [Tala] And you? * Cicada goes back to watching the travelers and the road for signs of danger to her lord. [Tei] official business, I am to preside over the wedding [Tabius] Imagination serves well those that have one. I have long appreciated the imagination of many of house Cynis * Cicada suppresses a small shudder on hearing that. [Maris] "Our imagination knows no bounds. Why I am myself surprised at some of the things my fellows in Pangu come up with. To each her own though." [Cicada] !roll 6d10 #pvpexalted [DiceBot] Cicada : 6d10, 1, 2, 8, 8, 6, 3 , Successes: 2 [Tala] Ah. Impressive [Cicada] [whispers to Tabius] My lord there seems to be a fire ahead... [Tei] nothing really, just another of my duties [Tabius] "A fire ahead, where? * Maris looks up ahead at the mention of the fire [Cicada] A farmhouse or something, shall I investigate? [Tabius] Let us all investigate, perhaps it is a group of vandals or brigands... [Cicada] Yes, my lord. * Tabius throws and arm down to Cicada to bring her up onto the mount and stirs the horse into a gallop [Storyteller] [anybody else going with them?] * Maris sighs and heads after Tabius after telling his servants to keep going on to the party. * Tei quickens his pace towards the fire [Tei] coming sister? * Tala follows the others towards the potential fire. [Storyteller] [okay, how many of you are riding horses?] * Tabius and Cicada...... * Maris rides a big black stallion * Tei not I [Storyteller] Allrighty [Storyteller] As you ride down the road, you see a large fire. It is not the farmhouse itself, but seems to be a barn or some kind of grain tower. [Storyteller] Those of you not riding, eventually see it too, but it will take longer to get there. * Tabius looks for any bad guys [Storyteller] As those on horses arrive, you see better that there are chests and drawers laying about, and some horses covered with sacks [Storyteller] Two men are busy securing the sacks as they see you, and shout * Tabius draws his sword [Cicada] Somebody is plundering the place? * Maris uses his knees to navigate and pulls on his razor claws as he gets closer [Storyteller] Lightning strikes the ground miles away, and it shakes [Cicada] I would like to get off this horse, my lord... * Tala sees the flash of steel [or Jade] and reaches for the leather device hanging from her belt * Tabius Slows enough for Cicada to get off the horse. [Cicada] Omph, thanks, my lord. [Storyteller] As you gallop into the yard, five men burst out of the house, all carrying bags. [Storyteller] One of them is carrying a young girl, instead of a bag. * Cicada gets off and pull her chackram out of her belt. * Tei runs to catch up, drawing his blades as he goes * Maris speeds up once he grabs the reins and gallops toward a clump of men and gets ready to start knocking heads. * Tala draws out a pair of gloves with claws of polished jade as black as the ocean's depths [Storyteller] okay, roll initiative everybody * Tabius in a very loud voice "Hold thieves, in the name of house Cathak!" [Storyteller] so it's Tala and Maris, then Tei, and finally Tabius [Storyteller] and Cicada [Storyteller] describe your actions [Storyteller] [stunts are good] * Tabius is going to ride hard at whomever is left after Tala, Maris, and Tei are done and jump off his horse at one of them driving his drawn blade into the infidels heart. [Storyteller] [Tala/Maris?] * Maris will use his horse's shoulder to clip one of the running robbers onto the ground and underneath the horse and then he will slam his clawed fist into the back of a second's fearful foe's head splitting their head in twain and gushing brains and blood all over his fist. He roars aloud in a bestial shouts he gallops his horse right over his two fallen foes and keeps on going towards the next. He'll split into three actions save * Tala moves to engage one of the bandits, flowing forward like the ocean tide. [Storyteller] The guards look around, seeing the dead [and the entrapped] [Tei] [what I’m in the house as well now * Tala makes sure the soldiers have the bandits secure, then follows them into the house [Tala] [what does the house look like from the out side?] [Storyteller] It is a one story home, with a thatched roof and wooden walls [Storyteller] are you all in the house? * Maris is [Cicada] !roll 7d10 #pvpexalted [DiceBot] Cicada : 7d10, 10, 2, 6, 10, 6, 2, 8 , Successes: 5 [Cicada] YEAH!! * Tabius is not. Still looking to see if the fire will actually get to the house. [Tei] [I am but I accidentally left the separate chat room [Storyteller] [it's okay] [Tala] [ I am in] [Storyteller] [Those inside the room find Cicada bandaging a man with a sword] [Storyteller] [he is unconscious] [Maris] The girl there? [Storyteller] [Cicada comforts the girl] [Storyteller] [the girl cries in her arms] [Storyteller] Outside, the rain begins in earnest. * Tei moves to kneel by the girl and cicada [Storyteller] The guard looks around [Tei] "how is she?" [Storyteller] "We would be honored to come with you to see the prefect * Maris looks around the room for a cloth to clean off his armor and claws [Storyteller] Prefect [Maris] [[that from the guards?]] [Storyteller] [There is nothing left but the bare walls] [Storyteller] [yes that is from the guards] [Tala] [Is the man another bandit or does he look like he could be the owner? [Storyteller] "If you will allow us..." he nods to his men who are dismounting and examining the bodies "They will take care of this here" [Storyteller] [He is wearing the Prefect's symbol and is well armed and armored.] * Maris heads out and goes and tears off a strip of cloth from one of the bandits shirts and starts cleaning his claws [Tala] [I mean the one being bandaged] [Maris] "Go ahead." * Maris whistles with two of his fingers sharply and the 4 servants ride up to the house. [Maris] "Go through that crap and see if there's anything worth taking" He says to the servants * Tabius is eying the guard who seems to be in charge of the others. [Storyteller] the man, dismounts, and bows * Tala turns to Maris [Storyteller] The rest of your party eventually shows up [Tala] [is the man being bandaged a bandit?] [Storyteller] The man nods to his men and they pile up the bodies [Tabius] "Rise sir and give your name. [Cicada] Before Cicada can answer her familiar the little round rabbitlike thing crawl out of her tunic and start hopping around gleefully shouting "Puuh" to help comfort the girl. [Storyteller] [no the man being bandaged is unable to move, being unconscious, and the sword is far too small for him to wield effectively [Storyteller] * Maris whistles with two of his fingers sharply and the 4 servants ride up to the house. [Storyteller] [er too large, that is] [Storyteller] foop [Storyteller] [Maris] "Go ahead." [Tala] [does he look like the owner?] [Storyteller] The girl is distracted by the creature but does not seem to have been eased of the pain [Storyteller] [No, he's much too young] * Tala looks at Maris [Storyteller] The guard enters the house [Tala] We cannot take these people's possessions * Cicada checks if she is wounded too. [Storyteller] The little girl is bruised, but unhurt [Tei] "indeed sister" [Tala] I did not stop the bandits so that I could take their place [Storyteller] The Guard's men work outside * Maris finishes cleaning his claws and takes them off and puts them away [Cicada] [looks up at Tei] Quick, see if there are others. [Storyteller] The Guard enters the room, and sighs [Maris] "Did I say anything about taking their stuff?" [Maris] "I just want to know what the hell brought the bandits here." [Tala] [yes] [Storyteller] "If you will let me speak, lords of the earth?" [Storyteller] saist the guards * Tabius gets his horse and goes after the horses of the bandits that wandered off. "I will retrieve the few horses that wondered off," to the guards outside. * Tala turns to the guard [Storyteller] the guards outside nod [Maris] [[I got all those]] * Tei does a quick search of the other rooms [Maris] "What is it?" Maris growls to the interrupting mortal. [Storyteller] "My name is Raman. I fear that most of those who live out here are in the city, for the celebration" [Storyteller] "We have been sent to patrol the countryside, but it seems that we are not as effective as we had hoped we would. With nobody here to defend their houses but children..." [Tala] That would explain why no one is here except the child [Storyteller] "We are doing the best we can, sirs" [Tala] Understood [Storyteller] [there is nothing of the other rooms of note. What is of note is that there is nothing except beds and such things too large to be carried, and most of what is too large to be carried is shattered] [Tala] You cannot be everywhere at once. You should leave one or two men here to help return these people's belongings to their home and keep the girl safe * Tei tie returns * Maris supervises his servants looking through the belongings and shakes his head at finding nothing useful [Tala] The rest of you can continue your patrol [Storyteller] Raman bows as he leaves * Maris mounts back on his horse and motions the servants to do the same. [Storyteller] He speaks to his men. Their voices carry on outside as they debate something, but not within your hearing. * Tala looks distastefully at the noble interested in the belongings of peasants [Storyteller] One of the guards mount his horse and rides to the city [Storyteller] gallops, more like it * Maris gives Tala a lewd smile, "See something you like monk?" * Tei "ticks" in disgust * Tabius returns with a few horses with packs on their backs and ties them off to a post outside the house. [Storyteller] Lightning explodes outside and the guard comes in from the rain [Tala] *If none of the guards have begun brining the peasant's belongings back into the house out of the rain, Tala begins to [Storyteller] The guards begin brining the stuff into the house. The fire begins to die down, with the help of the rain * Tei stands near to cicada, and keeps an eye on Maris [Storyteller] "That is all right, we will take care of it," they say, with a hasty grin [Cicada] [to the girl] There, there, your brother will be fine. But we need to take him somewhere safe for treatment. You can come too. * Tala nods to the guards [Maris] "Let's get to the party." [Storyteller] Raman speaks. "My lords, my men will stay here. If you will allow me to accompany you, I can guarantee that you will receive great honor" [Tei] keep my honor and give it to the children * Maris sighs and nods to Raman to acknowledge the statement * Tabius still out in the rain, but not seeming to be all that wet or unkempt says, "We can not be late for the party ladies and gentlemen, we have appearances to keep." [Storyteller] The girl is no longer crying but she does not speak [Tei] the children must be seen to first [Storyteller] [the party starts tomorrow] [Cicada] My lord, forgive me my impertinence, but the boy must have his wounds properly treated. [Storyteller] [It is 5 days long and stuff] * Tala kneels next to the little girl, smiling kindly, and gently touches her shoulder [Storyteller] The girl just stares, pretty much crushing [well, not really] the rabbitlike thing in her arms [Tabius] Raman, are you or any of your men skilled in medicine? [Storyteller] He shakes his head no [Tei] I have some small measure of skill [Storyteller] "Only enough to mend our wounds." [Cicada] My familiar: PUUUUUUUUUUUH!!! [in pain] [Maris] "Leave your servant and the Priests to care for the children Tabius. We can head on ahead of them." [Storyteller] The man is no longer bleeding, and does not look like anything else can be done for him at this time [Storyteller] the man is more of a boy, though. [Storyteller] So you shall be leaving them here]? [Tei] I will stay as long as feasible * Maris is waiting for Tabius to give acknowledgement [Cicada] My lord, I beg you, the boy must be transported to a hospital or monastery. And we cannot leave the girl alone. [Tala] [quietly to the girl] All will be ok now. You and your brother are safe, and I have asked the dragons to watch over you and he until your parents return. *kind smile* [Tabius] My escort stays with me dear Maris. [Tei] then I suppose the children will come with us [Tabius] If she decided to stay, I will stay. * Maris rolls his eyes, "Well then load the children on a couple of the horse then. We can drop them off somewhere on the way. [Cicada] My lord... I would never infringe.... [Maris] "Perhaps find their idiot parents." * Tala turns to the others [Storyteller] [it is only 2 hours to the city]" [Tala] And after the celebration their parents return to find this devastation and their children gone? [Tei] I wonder how much the fools will care [Tei] about the children at least [Maris] "I'm sure Raman can have his guards tell them when they get back." [Tala] The chances of us finding two peasants in the celebration are quite poor I believe. * Tabius looks to Cicada, "The soldiers will stay with them. The boy looks to be able enough to survive in good health, I think its fine if we leave. [Cicada] Tala, was your name right? The boy has a deep chest wound my meager bandage will only help temporarily. [Storyteller] [yea he's not bleeding but he needs constant care] [Storyteller] [he will heal in time if he gets it] [Cicada] We can leave one or two soldiers here to report to the family and then take the children along for treatment and safety. [Tei] I say place him on one of the bandits horses, in any case we must decide soon [Tabius] [does the boy look like he can travel with a wound like that, or will it just make it worse? [Cicada] I will arrange a stretcher. If I can be allowed to use two horses... * Tala stands. I can remain. My relations may be disappointed that I did not attend, however they are well aware of the choice I made many years ago. [Storyteller] [He will be able to take it, you can do it with one horse, he's small enough [Maris] "Take a couple. I'm sure the bandits won't mind [Storyteller] Raman says "I am certain we can find the boy's parents. A search will already have been organized for them." [Storyteller] Raman's men complete hauling everything inside. The fire has now ended, but the rain has slowed to a heavy drizzle. An hour has past [Tabius] Excellent, then we can take the children with us. Lets prepare the horses of the bandits * Tala gently takes the girl's hand. [Cicada] [lets go of the girl and give her to Tala] Here the kind monk will take care of you while I make a stretcher for your brother. I will be right back. Puuhda [points to the "rabbit"] will stay here too. [Tala] [to the girl] "Have you ever ridden a horse before?" * Tabius moves off with Cicada and uses his excellent knowledge of crafts to make the chore move more quickly. [Cicada] My lord... You shouldn't! [Storyteller] The girl nods slowly * Tei kneels near to the boy and begins to pray for the dragons to watch over him, meanwhile checking his wounds over for himself [Storyteller] Medicine + Int [Tala] Shall we go pick one out? There were several left behind by the bandits. [Tei] !roll 6d10 [DiceBot] Tei : 6d10, 8, 6, 2, 2, 2, 10 , Successes: 3 [Tabius] "I do not wish to be late, and this is something that I am good at, unlike combat. [Storyteller] The job looks well done, you can see no err in the treatment. [Cicada] Yes, my lord, I understand. [Storyteller] You find everything you need. With these materials, a sturdy stretcher can be made [Tabius] [oh that’s just bleeding sad! :-P shakes head] [Storyteller] [yes, you can clearly see the horses] [Storyteller] Dex + Craft for building the stretcher [Tabius] !roll 10d10 [DiceBot] Tabius : 10d10, 6, 3, 5, 2, 2, 6, 7, 9, 7, 8 , Successes: 4 [Cicada] !roll 7d10 #pvpexalted [DiceBot] Cicada : 7d10, 6, 5, 8, 4, 9, 4, 3 , Successes: 2 * Maris sits on his horse looking impatient and bored [Storyteller] After about 20 minutes has passed, the stretcher will be complete. [Storyteller] In this time, Everyone decides it is time to move on. [Tabius] [excellent :-] ] * Tala crouches next to the girl. "Do you see one you like?" [Storyteller] Raman mounts his horse after helping place the boy in the stretcher [Storyteller] The girl points to one of the horses that were before carrying only loot [Storyteller] "Daddy horse!" she says * Tei stays with the boy during the move and walks next to the stretcher * Tala smiles to the girl. "Shall we ride that one then?" * Tabius mounts. Cicada, you should have a mount now as well. * Cicada walks beside the stretcher too. If this does not place her too far from Tabius. [Storyteller] The girl nods and she leads you to the horsie * Tabius takes the extra mounts in tow. No need to leave them at the farm.. * Maris heads for town then Servants in wake * Tala checks the saddle and reins to make sure everything is secure, then she helps the girl up to the saddle * Tei glances at Tabius "those may belong here.” * Tala turns to Tabius, [Tabius] "Then the parents can pick and choose which is theirs and which is not. “ [Tala] "I agree with Tei." [Tala] Actually, I have a better idea [Tala] They have lost much [Tala] We should leave all the other horses here. [Tala] They deserve the compensation from the bandits for the destruction [Tei] that is a good plan sister [Tala] By selling the horses the farmers can replace much of what they lost. [Cicada] My lord, I am quite fine walking. * Tabius flips a coin. It ends up favorably for the family and he leaves the horses at the farm. [Storyteller] 1 sec [Tabius] "Never let it be said that the sage advice of the Order and Fate could not change a mind. [Storyteller] but those are not to be worried about :p [Tabius] [dead people? [Tala] [I see dead people] [Cicada] [GoldenH's ancestors...] [Tala] [and it only cost me 5 motes of essence.....] [Storyteller] indeed. [Tei] [or 1 depending on which is right] [Storyteller] my ancestors are very wise [Storyteller] and they say that I should send you all to the city now, with Raman * Maris goes as he planned too * Tala rides with the girl [Tabius] "Come now Maris, half an hour is not all that long to wait, even in the rain. * Tei walks beside the boy as planned * Cicada walks next to the stretcher. [eyes Tei] "Do I know you, sir?" * Tei I was going to ask you the same thing. [Tei] you look so familiar somehow [Maris] "I waited didn't I?" [Tabius] "And I thank you, now, for doing so." [Tei] "may I ask your name, lady...?" [Cicada] You must be mistaken, sir. A lowly servant has no reason to have met an exalted immaculate. [DiceBot] You and your entourage leaves the farm slowly towards the city. The remainder of Raman's guards sit on the porch, making jokes, having covered the dead in robes and well bound the living criminals so that they would not escape. As you talk, the rain sometimes hardens, sometimes softens, but all through it the sun shines upon you [Cicada] I am Sable Cicada, maid servant of Cathak Tabius. * Cicada makes sure the boy is covered with a cloak. [Cicada] Already feverish. No point in making it worse... * Tei looks at Cicada in recognition [Cicada] Excuse me sir, have you never seen a servant treat wounds before? [Storyteller] The boy is well protected from the rain, but the cloak keeps him warm. [Tei] why yes. this particular servant to be exact. My side still shows the scar [Cicada] Huh? * Tei looks a bit hurt [Tei] have you forgotten already? * Tei can't stop smiling [Cicada] You mean...?! You're ?! [Tei] yes and I can prove it if you wish [Cicada] The Nanlin boy who visited the Cathak household * Tei laughs [Tei] Peleps but close enough [Tei] ah the dragons do work in strange ways sometimes [Cicada] You have grown.... Tei... [Tei] as have you. [Tei sounds ambiguous but still smiles] [Cicada] And become a fully fledged monk. I am in awe of the favor the dragons have shown you. [Storyteller] The walls of the city are now visible in the distance. Banners stream from the towers, but you can see little else * Tala rides with the girl, telling her stories from the Immaculate texts [Storyteller] she manages to complete one of your verses for you [Tei] no need for awe, the dragons merely choose their servants in a spectacular way [Tei] here we are 5 years and both still servants * Maris rides along thinking to himself and not really saying much [Cicada] Sir, I would never presume equality between us! You are exalted, sir. [Tei] no need to call me sir, brother will do or even Tei if you wish [Cicada] Yes, sit Tei. [Cicada] [Sir Tei, that is] [DiceBot] You are now only 30 minutes from the gates. The banners streaming from the towers are brightly colored, and throngs of people can be seen outside the town walls [Tei] so what brings you to this august gathering? [DiceBot] A small tent village has sprung up outside the gates [Tala] [to the girl] Have you ever visited the city before? [Storyteller] the girl shakes her head yes [Cicada] I am the unworthy servant of Cathak Tabius, just as I was being trained to be back then. I go where my lord goes. [Storyteller] the girl shakes her head yes * Tabius enjoys the rain. [Tei] then why is your lord here then? [Cicada] To attend the wedding as a representative of Cathak. [Tei] a Cathak sorcerer, will wonders never cease * Tei shakes his head in amusement [Tei] sometimes I am truly amazed by the dragons sense of humor [Storyteller] You arrive at the city. [Cicada] Yes, the irony is sometimes truly entertaining. [Storyteller] A group of well dressed people come near [Storyteller] The prefect raises his hands and smiles as you hail him, with a slight bow. * Maris dismounts as well [Storyteller] "I thank you for what you have done for my people." * Cicada kneels. [Storyteller] the prefects eyes watches over you all [Tabius] My name is Tabius *pointing to Cicada* and this is my friend Sable Cicada with me. * Tei stands near the boy with his arms folded in his sleeves, waiting to be acknowledged [Maris] "I am Cynis Maris.' [Storyteller] The Prefect nods. [Tabius] On the road I had the privilege to meet Maris of Cynis, Tei and Tala of the Order. *indicates them in order * Cicada wince at being called "a friend". [Storyteller] The prefect nods to both of them, with a slight quaver * Tala dismounts, then helps the girl down * Tei steps forward [Storyteller] "I welcome you to our humble city" * Tabius "Thank you," pointing towards the stretcher, "We have with us two children, one of them is hurt and in need of medical attention beyond the means of my companions. He was hurt during the attack on a farm near the road to the city. * Tala keeps a gentle hand on the young girl's shoulder, to keep her relaxed [Storyteller] The prefect nods, and two of those in his throng come to take the stretcher away [Storyteller] "Come with me, I have made special... arrangements for you all." [Storyteller] [and it is 12:05 so do you want to keep going?] [Maris] [[fine with me it's 10 here]] [Tabius] [Oh yes :-] [Cicada] Two in the afternoon here.. But MUST leave in an hour or so. * Maris gives the reins of his steed to one of his servants and follows the Prefect [Tabius] [erm..... Good Morning Vietnam just started so I am set] * Tala hold the girl's hand. She leans down and asks her "What is your name?" [Storyteller] "Mary" [Cicada] My lord should I not see to your horse? [Storyteller] The prefect leads you through the city. There are many people. many DRUNK people, and just as many people stoned out of their mind [Storyteller] But they are all happy, and celebrating. * Tala whispers back "You may call me Sister Tala." * Tabius in a whisper, "That will not be necessary Cicada. Appearing arrogant will not due." [Storyteller] "Lala" [Cicada] Yes my lord, I understand. * Tala smiles at the girl and gives her hand a reassuring squeeze, trying to keep her from becoming nervous or overwhelmed. [Storyteller] They do this despite the rain, which runs through the gutters * Maris walks along beside the Prefect and watches the drunks as he goes by [Storyteller] Women wearing elaborate dresses follow you, carrying huge palm leaves over you all [Storyteller] The palm leaves serve to protect you from much of the rain [Storyteller] now that I have fixed that.. everyone roll Occult+Int as they enter the central square [Tala] !roll 5d10 [DiceBot] Tala : 5d10, 1, 10, 3, 6, 1 , Successes: 2 [Maris] !roll 2d10 [DiceBot] Maris : 2d10, 9, 5 , Successes: 1 [Cicada] !roll 2d10 #pvpexalted [DiceBot] Cicada : 2d10, 9, 6 , Successes: 1 [Tabius] !roll 11d10 [DiceBot] Tabius : 11d10, 3, 4, 9, 9, 10, 4, 5, 3, 5, 6, 2 , Successes: 4 [Storyteller] As you enter the square, you see an enormous structure. You are divided up accordingly. * Tala looks to the girl, "After I leave my things in my quarters and we see that your brother is taken care of would you like to look for your parents? [Storyteller] The retainers show each of you to your own room. You are explained that while you can go wherever you wish, that you may not enter another's room without their permission [Cicada] My lord, lets go, we have many preparations to do. [Storyteller] You are highly encouraged to leave your stuff laying around in open sight, protected by the throng of guards that patrol it. * Maris nods and gets out of his wet armor and takes a nice warm bath [Tei] I shall see you later then sable [Storyteller] By your estimation there is probably a scale for the manor alone. * Cicada helps her lord out of his armor and find new clothes for him in the baggage. * Tei leaves his meager belongings, to be taken care of [Storyteller] aaand I’ll let you get comfortable in your rooms. It is the late afternoon, and you have been traveling all day... so you may not wish to leave your rooms [Tei] keeping his weapons and armor of course * Tala leaves her pack in her room and goes with the girl to visit her brother [Tabius] Thank you Cicada, but you forget...... [Cicada] Forget... [Cicada] ? * Tabius uses a mote of essence to change his cloths into very comfortable, but elegant house wear. * Tei leaves with Tala [DiceBot] There are private parties going full swing. Through the rain and the smoke from hearths, you think you can make out banners above some of the buildings. Some of them, you expect, are for individual dynastic houses. * Tei keeps a strong lookout hoping to avoid any relatives * Maris dresses into some silk wear and decides to go off to find some fun. [Storyteller] few dragon blooded seem to roam the streets, most likely they are all engaged in private affairs. [Cicada] Forgive me my deficient memory, my lord. I will go heat your bath, then check the surroundings. [Tabius] "Please Sable, do as you please in private I need not be waited on hand and foot" Tabius smiles very tenderly. [Cicada] Yes my lord, I understand. [Tabius] Please draw the bath for yourself. No one would be so foolish to attack us as we first get here, but will wait till later when we are off our guard. [Storyteller] *chachacha-booom* goes the lightning outside the city gates ;] * Cicada heats the bath. Then makes her usual round to check corridors, locks, sniper-positions and so on. * Storyteller ponders * Tabius [tries to ponder what the ST is pondering, but fails miserably] [DiceBot] I’m pondering that my dad is about to acquire the computer from me.
