[21:58] * Tabius keeps looking at Tala with a little bit of worry in his eyes as he withdraws his hands, letting her know that CIcada is not exactly OK. [22:15] * Tala seeks out one of the servants and tells them to bring some of their best tea to Cicada's room, but gives them instructions not to enter, just knock and wait for someone to come to the door. [22:15] the servants do as Tala asks; you never see them unless you hunt them down. [22:17] Tala enters the day street. It is still before noon, a long day ahead of you all. Soon, calibration will arrive, and with it the chaos that it always brings. but that does not worry you now; things must be done that are more important than mere calibration venturing [22:19] After changing her clothes Tala heads out into the street, heading to the area where she was working a year ago. She asks some what they think of the soldiers, and other casual questions regarding them, hoping to pick up clues that she can follow, and narrow her investigation down. [22:26] anyhow, you have succeeded in all your primary goals. They do remember Cicada, she came in, seeming rather aloof, and after a few days went from "pretty good" to lying in the gutter to hiding underground in the sewers. There are various people responsible, who seem to have no connection but for the area she haunted. [22:27] No one has heard of any soldiers mentioning it or bragging? [22:27] The ones in question should be simple enough to find, given that they still frequent the same bars and harass the same women. [22:28] this was the bone lion/demon-summoning room, wasn't it ? [22:28] Bentharr has done an excellent job; his return to the land of the living hearlded the town's recovery from the bandits; he was able to quickly track down and kill the bandit leader, leading to the current state of peace and tranquility. He is regarded as a hero, not a little due to his triumph over the foul powers of the anathema [22:31] The events of the last year have otherwise been rather dull. Crops have been good, people seem to be doing overwell better, and the streets are safe at night. [22:32] just stay out of the sewers; strange noises and shadows lurk from them/ [22:34] * Tala notes the stories regarding the city and Bentharr, but pursues the leads regarding the soldiers [22:35] you eventually find the bar... it is very popular, and quite a few women of various quality and dubious reputation frequent it. Perhaps it's only redeeming factor is a idol of Pasiap over the hearth, but it is old and simple, if clean. [22:38] * Tala studies the building outside, arms crossed. [22:39] it's a three story building, made out of the same stone everything else in the city is made of. a woven rug lies over the wooden floors, clearly a benefit; they can go barefooted here, if they wish. Various arched windows and overhangs make up the place, and the roof is cut off after a certain height, acting as a railed perch with which to overlook the city. [22:42] * Tala enters the bar, but keeps a low profile. She knows that it is hard for her to go about incognito, but she does her best not to draw attention to herself. [22:43] There is probably a entrance into the building from the roof if you dare. Music and laughter comes from inside, along with a few indignant screams but more laughter always follows.
